Security deposit rules in Connecticut

Connecticut: return the deposit within 21 calendar days of the end of the tenancy. 15 calendar days after receipt of the tenant's forwarding address if A written forwarding address is received; 15 days after it, if that is later (If the written forwarding address arrives so that address + 15 days is later than termination + 21 days, the later date governs). Interest: yes. Penalty if the refund or statement is late: 2x the deposit. (Conn. Gen. Stat. 47a-21)
